I bought the “Movie Studio Pro” theme… Afterwards it tells you that it needs a special plugin. Sadly they have their own plugin installer within the theme customizer and it just isn’t able to download and install the plugin (because their link just doesn’t work. Installing manually isn’t an option there). Installing it the usual way via the WordPress dashboard works but isn’t recognized by the theme. So I have installed it on the website but it still tells me I have to install it, whenever I try to activate the Pro version…

How am I supposed to send you a screenshot? I cannot attach anything here. In the contact area it’s also not possible…

Anyway, this is text that I get:

You can download that from your account registered at https://www.themespride.com/my-account/. Please login and go to the “Downloads” section. You can download the theme and plugin both.

Hey,

I know, but as I wrote, I already downloaded AND installed it, but the theme has a separate plugin installer, that doesn’t recognize the plugin taht is already there. It also doesn’t have the option of installing manually, so I cannot tell it to install the plugin via a downloaded file. The option simply doesn’t exist.

I am getting same error. Message is that it’s missing the style.css stylesheet in the posttype plugin installation zip file.

movie-review-hub-pro-posttype_0.0.1.zip is a plugin not a theme so you need to upload it from Plugins -> Add New. Please try and let us know.
