How to add sections?

We are working with the pro version of this theme and we need to add another section on the main page that provides space for a bit of text.

This is the page: http://www.spreadteam.de

The presently available sections do not provide us the opportunity to add another section that allows for a text of 377 characters.

Can you please help?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us here.

We have updated our theme to use “Content Area” on the home page as well. So that user can add section with the help of Gutenberg editor on any plugin like Elementor.

All you have to do is to update the theme. First download the theme from https://www.themespride.com/my-account/ and upload it from Appearance -> Themes. Upload the theme it will show you the option of “Update and replace”. Click on that and your theme will get updated.

Now open “Home” page to edit add whatever text you would like to add. Then go to Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Settings -> section reordering. At the end you will see “Content Area”. Change its position by drag and drop. After doing this you will see the text you have added at the end of the page pr where you have shifted it. So by using that content area you can add any section with the help of Gutenberg editor on any plugin like Elementor.

Hi,

thanks for your reply and the instructions.

I downloaded the theme as instructed from your provided link. I installed it and clicked on the option “Update and replace”. Then I went into the “Home” page and added my text, and hit “update”.
I went to appearance -> Customizer -> Theme Settings -> Section Reordering. But I don’t see a “Content Area” section there.

The only sections I can see are:

Slider
About
Services
Our-Products
Record
Our_Feature
Gallery
Why-Choose-us
Our_Team
Our_Brands
Testimonial
Our_Sponsor
Video
Newsletter
Latest_Posts
Footernewsletter.

Do you have any advice on how to add the “content area”? I think it’s a great idea to add this feature, for it provides us with more freedom.

Okay I got it, cleared the cache and it works now. Thank you very much.
