Construction hub pro – can i change project/service section to product section

Hi,
I am trying to change the either project or service section in home page of construction hub pro theme to product in such a way that it has 4 sub sections, each pointing to 4 product categories. However, i am unable to this as the permalink is not editable. The permalink always shows “…./service/product-category”.
So even though I change the title from service to product, there is no shortcut to make such changes in permalink. Could you please guide on the same.

Hi,

Thanks for the post.

You have to change the name of posttypes like you can change service to “product 1”, team to “product 2 “, then your url changes to product.

Please take backup of your site before doing any changes.

The change you suggested does not work as expected. Please find below the issues faced:
After changing the title of “OUR PROJECT” to “OUR PRODUCT”, I am unable to link the project image tiles to product categories that i created through woocommerce. This is happening as the project tiles are by default linking to the project pages which are titled as construction and are built in and available with the theme purchase. Also I am trying to directly link images on home page under the project section to product categories that i created using woocommerce which is not a product page instead is product category.

Could you please give us website credentials, create a customer for us, give it the admin role, and email us the username and password along with the website’s URL. to support@themespride.com so that we can do the changes on your site.

Also please notify us if you have taken backup of your site ?
